Clip Assistant
Clip Assistant lets you clip content from anywhere without opening the mini program or extension. Four channels are supported: Telegram Bot, WeCom Assistant, Weibo Assistant, and iOS Shortcuts.
What is Clip Assistant
The idea behind Clip Assistant is simple: integrate ETN into the chat tools and apps you already use, so clipping fits naturally into your workflow instead of requiring you to switch apps.
Prerequisites:
- ETN account registered (via Mini Program or extension)
- Notion authorization completed
- Target database configured
Choose Your Channel
- Telegram Bot
- WeCom Assistant
- Weibo Assistant
- iOS Shortcuts
Send links to @etn_clip_bot on Telegram and they're automatically clipped to Notion.
Best for: Regular Telegram users, or anyone who wants to clip across devices (phone + desktop).
Setup
Step 1: Find the Bot
Search for @etn_clip_bot in Telegram and tap "Start" to begin the conversation.
Step 2: Get a binding code
Open ETN Mini Program → Personal center → Telegram Bot → tap "Get binding code".
A binding command is generated in this format:
/bind xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Tap "Copy binding command" — the command is copied to your clipboard.
The binding code is valid for 5 minutes. If it expires, generate a new one.
Step 3: Send the binding command
Go back to Telegram, paste the command into the @etn_clip_bot chat, and send it.
The Bot replies "Binding successful" to confirm.
Step 4: Confirm status
Return to the mini program and tap "Refresh status" — the page shows "✓ Connected".
How to Use
Once bound, just send any supported link directly to @etn_clip_bot — the Bot clips it and replies with the result.

Disconnect
Mini Program → Personal center → Telegram Bot → tap "Disconnect" → confirm.
After disconnecting, the Bot stops processing links from your account. You can reconnect at any time.
Add the ETN WeCom contact and send links directly in the WeCom chat to clip them.
Best for: Users who work in WeCom and want to quickly save work-related content.
Setup
Step 1: Add the WeCom contact
Open ETN Mini Program → Personal center → WeCom Assistant. A QR code is shown at the bottom of the page.
Long-press the QR code to scan it and add 「EverythingToNotion」 as a WeCom contact.
Step 2: Get the activation code
Back on the WeCom Assistant page in the mini program, tap "Copy activation code".
The activation code is copied to your clipboard.
Step 3: Send the activation code
In WeCom, paste the activation code into the chat with 「EverythingToNotion」 and send it.
The assistant replies with an activation success message.
Step 4: Confirm status
Refresh in the mini program — it shows "✓ Connected".
How to Use
Once activated, send any supported platform link directly in the WeCom chat — the assistant clips it automatically and confirms.
No need to open the mini program or browser extension. Everything happens inside WeCom.
Disconnect
Mini Program → WeCom Assistant → tap "Disconnect" → confirm.
Interact with the ETN official Weibo account via DM — send a Weibo link to clip it.
Best for: Active Weibo users who want to archive Weibo content to Notion.
Setup
Step 1: Follow the official account
Open the Weibo app, search for 「EverythingToNotion」, follow the official account, and open the DM conversation.
Step 2: Get the activation message
Open ETN Mini Program → Personal center → Weibo Assistant → tap "Copy activation message".
The full activation message (including your account identifier) is copied to your clipboard.
Step 3: Send the activation message
In Weibo, paste and send the activation message to the EverythingToNotion DM.
The official account replies "Activation successful, congratulations!"
Step 4: Confirm status
Return to the mini program and tap "Refresh status" — the page shows the activation time and bound Weibo account name.
How to Use
Once activated, send a Weibo post link in the DM — the official account processes it and replies with the clip result.
Only Weibo content links (
weibo.com/...) are supported. Links from other platforms are not accepted.
Notes
- One ETN account can only be bound to one Weibo account
- The activation code is valid indefinitely — no need to reactivate
- To switch to a different Weibo account: Mini Program → Weibo Assistant → tap "Deactivate" → reactivate
Integrate ETN into the iPhone Shortcuts app — clip any page directly from the share sheet of any app.
Best for: iPhone users who want to clip from Safari, WeChat, Weibo, or other apps without switching apps.
Get Your Secret Key
The secret key links your ETN account to the shortcut. Configure it once and it lasts forever.
- Open ETN Mini Program → Personal center → Shortcuts
- Tap "Get secret key"
- A dialog appears: "Key copied to clipboard. Tap 'Tutorial' to see setup steps."
Keep your key safe. It's the only credential linking to your account — don't share it.
Install a Shortcut
The shortcuts page shows available shortcut cards, each displaying:
- Shortcut name and version
- Feature description
- Number of users using it
Installation steps:
- Tap the shortcut card you want — the link is copied to your clipboard
- Open Safari, paste the link, and navigate to it
- The page redirects to the Shortcuts app — tap "Add Shortcut"
- In the shortcut settings, paste your secret key into the corresponding field
- Tap "Done" to save
How to Use
After installation, on any iPhone app:
- Tap the system share button (box with arrow icon)
- Find the EverythingToNotion shortcut in the share sheet
- Tap it — the content is automatically clipped to Notion
Example use cases:
- Browsing in Safari → share to ETN → clip article
- WeChat built-in browser on a public article → share to ETN → clip article
- Weibo app on a post → share to ETN → save content
FAQ
Q: Can't find the ETN shortcut in the share sheet?
A: First time users need to manually add it: scroll to the bottom of the share sheet and tap "More" → find EverythingToNotion → toggle it on.
Q: Entered the wrong key?
A: Open the Shortcuts app, long-press the shortcut and choose "Edit", then re-enter the correct key.
